Amy Marcelle Bellotti
Born in Colorado (USA), Amy Bellotti graduated in Restaurant and Resort Management at Colorado State University. Amy then moved to Piedmont, Italy in 1998 to continue her studies and obtain a Master Chef Certificate from the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners (ICIF) at the Institute of Costigliole d’ Asti. Subsequently, she began her professional career alongside Chef Marc Lanteri at Ristorante Delle Antiche Contrade brigade in the city of Cuneo, Italy. Amy is a Professional Sommelier of the Association of Italian Sommeliers; she employs her knowledge and expertise to maintain and develop an evolving and exciting wine list that seamlessly pairs with Marc’s cuisine.
As with their restaurant in Mondovi (Il Baluardo) and in the Castle of Grinzane Cavour, Amy welcomes guests alongside Marc at the new “Marc Lanteri” restaurant in Castagnito d’Alba. She brings her expert hospitality to their guests with fine dining, events, and special experiences, alongside education initiatives in sustainability, which she is passionate about furthering.
